Accu-Sort Work-In-Progress (WIP) RFID solutions offer several unique advantages over optical data capture systems. RFID uses radio signals for identification and sortation of tagged objects -- so no line of sight is required.

The radio signals also ensure an increased read rate in harsh environments. RFID is not impacted by bad weather, poor printing or other visual barriers. It offers increased efficiency by reading multiple tags simultaneously. RFID tags provide the added benefit of read and write capability.
