Production Reporting
Small Item Sortation Systems supports sorting into tubs, sacks or larger containers and along with volume and mail item weight and/or dimension insures that individual dispatches and the overall network is optimized. Receiving offices can also be informed of mail item arrivals. Label printer applicators can be integrated to provide customer specific information including determining proper pricing.
Post Code Sorting and Automated Manifesting
Larger mailers looking to reduce the shipping and handling costs of packets and smaller parcels can realize both labor savings and reduced shipping rates by using a Small Item Sortation System. Integration of an in-motion scale to automatically capture individual parcel weights at rates of up to 100 per minute allows the sorter to provide labor savings and increased capacity. Sorting the parcels by post code provides the potential to lower operating and transportation costs while improving service.
