Accu-Sort specializes in developing RFID systems for use in tracking merchandise from Receive-to-Ship within the warehouse or distribution environment. These systems include RFID over-the-conveyor (OTC) systems, OTC non-singulated systems and dock door portal systems. They are all developed using the best-in-class software and hardware for the particular application, physical, and RF environment.
The Accu-Sort’s application-enhanced ThingMagic reader further expands Accu-Sort’s reader portfolio to address the needs of a number of these applications. Accu-Sort has deployed over 50 RFID systems to date since its RFID initiatives were kicked off in 2000. Because of this experience, we understand the many factors that need to be taken into consideration when deploying these systems, including:
- Tag Placement
- Tag Orientation
- Tag Type
- Carton Content
- Carton Spacing(Tag Spacing
- Antenna Polarization
- Antenna Placement
- Software Processing Time
- FRO Noise Environment
- Physical Environment
Many RFID readers can’t do the job alone when considering these factors, and many can’t do the job at all. A systems approach must be taken to include readers, software, antennas and structure. Accu-Sort has expanded its portfolio by integrating the ThingMagic reader into our system approach to help meet customer RFID application requirements.
Specifically, Accu-Sort has enhanced the ThingMagic reader system performance by integrating it with our application-designed and patented antennas and software. |
