The RFR-02 is a fixed position radio frequency tag reader for use in factory automation, automated material handling and asset identification. This unit is compatible with the ISO 15693 standard allowing it to read and write to passive tags (RF transponders) operating at a frequency of 13.56 MHz. The rugged compact reader can be powered from 10 to 30 VDC and has many built-in features. Two communication ports provide a dedicated RS-232 setup port and an RS-232 or RS-422/485 network port. DeviceNet communications are also available.

Accu-Sort provides three antenna configurations to fit varied applications. All of these antennas are singleloop transmit/receive antennas with pre-set matching electronics for a transmitter frequency of 13.56MHz and impedance of 50ohm. The antennas have an onboard matching and frequency circuit that includes complete adjustability for in field adjustments. All antennas are connected to reader unit via a BNC connection. Cable distances are flexible up to 15’.
