Accu-Sort® Systems has further expanded its suite of Flexible Automation Solution Tools (FAST) with the introduction of FAST View, an easy-to-use, real-time graphical system monitor with a designer tool for system setup and run-time tools for end-user viewing.

It allows for import of an AutoCAD® drawing whenever layouts are updated without additional costs. It can zoom and pan, displaying the current fault of tagged objects. User-friendly design mode facilitates customization with system data stored in a configuration file. FAST View connects to any OBDC-compliant database and can be integrated with Accu-Sort's FAST suite of flexible automation solution tools.

FAST View is loaded with a facility's pre-existing AutoCAD drawing which eliminates redrawing, recreating and duplication, simplifying setup. FASTView can receive data from all defined sources, including databases, serial lines, TCP/IP and other inputs. Identifying and tagging all of the objects in the AutoCAD drawing completes setup.

FAST View is also easy to run. If there is a change in an object's status, it displays a color change for the object on the screen. Users are alerted and can address the issue to reduce downtime and increase throughput. A zoom button enlarges the drawing in the view window, while a pan button moves it left or right and up or down. A percentage button enlarges or reduces the drawing by a specific percentage, and an alert beacon indicates overall system status.
